IT Team

IT Team collaborates with the university community to understand their needs and provides a practical, secure, and reliable solution. IT Team demonstrate technical aspects of solutions and be ready for operational excellence through a commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement.
Team also oversees and implements security initiatives on the entire campus. The team constantly tracks email phishing and conducts cyber security awareness educational sessions.
Team provides remote and in-person assistance at the Help Desk for all supported platforms. It works with teams across the university, including non-IT offices, to expedite solutions or requests for help. The team manages a university-wide IT service management system, tracking all client requests for support.

IT Team has two categories one is the Systems Team and another one IT Infrastructure Team

IT Systems

The IT systems team provides evaluation, consultation, development, and support to Ashokans. The team is responsible for implementing university-wide academic, non-academic, and learning space/classroom technologies.
Team also provides user experience guidance and development, application development consulting, application support, database management, systems intelligence (including data architecture and modeling expertise), and application process automation.

IT Infrastructure

The Infrastructure team provides enterprise services to the university community across the Ashoka campus in support of identity management, security, server engineering, data center operations, networking, wireless, internet and telephony services. The team also supports the centralized Computer Labs and the student-facing services associated with Lab technologies.
The Audio Video Team acts as a link between the campus and vendors to ensure audio and video systems are functional, installed, and maintained properly.
